A gritty, coarse sand with larger particles than other construction sands, ideal for concrete, laying under artificial grass. Also can be added to potting soil mixes to loosen clay soils and improve drainage.
A general purpose sand used mostly for bricklaying and rendered plastering. Can be identified by the even and small grittiness of aggregate in the clay mix.
